Concert in the Park

Join us for a free concert series on the third Friday of the month, September through November. Enjoy an evening of dancing and live entertainment under the stars at City Center Front Green. This event features a live band along with food and beverage vendors. Bring a chair or blanket. Seating opens one hour before the music starts! No tents allowed. This event is free, and for all ages.

Sept. 20 - Jack'd Up

JACK'd UP.jpg Avid musician and guitarist, Kurt Kiehnle, founded a local band that was recently nominated “Best Musical Group”, by the prestigious Sarasota Herald-Tribune Readers’ Choice Awards 2022. This musical rock sensation, that goes by the wacky name of Jack’d Up, expressed immense happiness and gratitude to all listeners for recognizing their efforts and hard work. Kurt, fondly know as K Rock, rose to fame quickly when he established the band in 2018. Jack’d Up can be best described as a modern, fun and high-energy rock n roll cover band, that specializes in playing dance and party hits from the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and today. In their own words, “we will make you drink, dance and party all night long!”

Oct. 18 - Rockadelic

Rockadelic is a high-energy, female-led Classic Rock band hailing from Naples, FL, known for delivering unforgettable performances. Covering iconic hits from legendary artists like Tom Petty, Fleetwood Mac, Blondie, Duran Duran, The Beatles, The Eagles, Pink Floyd, and many more, Rockadelic is ready to take the stage and rock the crowd with their dynamic sound and electrifying presence!

Food Truck Vendor Information

Thank you for your interest in Concert in the Park. We are no longer accepting food vendor applications at this time as we have reached our capacity. We appreciate your interest and hope to see you at the next event!

Food Vendor applications will be reviewed on a first-come first-served basis based on event needs. Completion of this application does not guarantee acceptance into the event. The City reserves the right to select the categories/type of food to be sold to minimize duplication and will determine needs based on anticipated attendance, duration of event, and previous demand. Approval of vendor application does not guarantee exclusivity of a particular food item to be sold at the event. Vendors deemed inappropriate for an event will be declined. A Parks & Recreation staff member will be in touch within 72-business hours to discuss your application status.
