The City of North Port is launching the Traffic Signal Cabinet Artwork Wrap Program to transform ordinary traffic signal cabinets into vibrant public art displays.

These large metal boxes house equipment controlling traffic lights and will now become canvases for local artists.

Here's how it works: Local artists submit designs at NorthPortFL.gov/TrafficSignalArt.

The Art Advisory Board reviews submissions, and selected designs go to the City Commission for approval.

Approved artwork is printed onto wraps and installed on cabinet exteriors, transforming them into outdoor galleries.

The wraps won't interfere with the equipment inside, ensuring safe traffic signal operation.

Interested artists can visit NorthPortFL.gov/TrafficSignalArt to submit a design and be part of a movement to further beautify our streets.
