"Movies on the Green" series returns in 2025!

The North Port Parks & Recreation Department is thrilled to announce the return of Movies on the Green in 2025! This beloved community event will once again transform the City Center Front Green into an open-air cinema, offering free, family-friendly movies under the stars. Mark your calendars and bring your blankets, lawn chairs, and loved ones for an unforgettable movie experience.

This year’s lineup includes blockbuster hits, fan-favorite sequels, and even a chance for YOU to choose the final movie of the spring series!

  • The fun begins on Jan. 31 at 6:30 p.m. with Wonka (2023), a magical origin story of the world’s most famous chocolatier.
  • On Feb. 28 at 6:30 p.m., Inside Out 2 (2024) takes us back inside Riley's mind for a heartwarming sequel full of new emotions and adventures.
  • On March 28 at 7:45 p.m., we’re turning the power over to YOU with our People’s Choice Movie night! Help us decide which film will close out the series by casting your vote at NorthPortFL.gov/MOG.

All movies will be shown at the City Center Front Green, located at 4970 City Hall Blvd. All ages are welcome, and the event is designed to be accessible and inclusive for everyone. Admission is free, and local food truck vendors will be on-site with snacks and refreshments available for purchase. Don’t forget to bring your lawn chairs and blankets for a comfortable evening under the stars.

Vendors

Are you interested in becoming a vendor at the Movie on the Green? Vendor applications are available online at NorthPortFL.gov/Vendor-Opportunities. Applications will be considered on a first-come, first-serve basis based on event needs and space availability. The City does not provide exclusivity for vendors on items and reserves the right to turn away vendors deemed inappropriate for this family event.
