Great news, North Port residents! If your home was impacted by Hurricane Ian, there's a new program that can help you get back on your feet.

The Resilient SRQ Housing Recovery Program has $55 million available to assist eligible homeowners in Sarasota County with home repairs and rehabilitation, reconstructing damaged homes and reimbursement for repairs already completed

This program is open to homeowners in Sarasota County whose homes were damaged by Hurricane Ian. You can submit an initial interest survey online at ResilientSRQ.net/housing-recovery.

If you meet the basic eligibility criteria, you'll be invited to submit the full application and required documents beginning June 26.

If you need help with the survey or have any questions, you can call or email the Resilient SRQ staff at 941-861-5309 or info@ResilientSRQ.net. Translation services are available upon request.

Don't miss this opportunity to get the support you need to recover from Hurricane Ian's impacts. The program will remain open until all funds are distributed, so submit your interest survey as soon as possible.
