Boil Water Notice issued for S. Biscayne Drive and Pan American Blvd.

An unexpected main break at Pan American Blvd. and S. Biscayne Drive has resulted in a temporary interruption of water service this morning. Utilities crews are on scene working to restore service.
After water service is resumed a boil water advisory will be in effect as a precaution.

Smoke free parks ordinance takes effect March 1

Effective March 1, 2024, Ordinance 2023-33 goes into effect. The ordinance was adopted by the City Commission this past November and prohibits smoking in city parks.

Warm Mineral Springs Park admission fees take effect Oct. 1

Effective Oct. 1, 2023, the admission for Warm Mineral Springs Park will return to pre-Hurricane Ian rates. In addition, 10- and 30-visit passes will be available for visitors to purchase at Warm Mineral Springs Park. The North Port City Commission approved the rate adjustments at a meeting this week.

Boil water notice rescinded for Gran Paradiso, Island Walk

A water main was compromised on Friday, Sept. 8, when a contractor working on the U.S. 41 project near Preto Blvd. damaged a line that services Gran Paradiso and Island Walk Communities. Due to water pressure falling below 20 psi within those communities, a boil water advisory will be in effect as a precaution.
